 One of the best baby toys we own! Oct 30, 2008

These are simply awesome- they are one of the best baby toys we own. (And by now with baby number 3, we have a lot of baby toys!) They continue to hold my boys' attention even as other toys fall out of favor. I think this is because they are so adaptable- there isn't anything you are "supposed" to do with them; it is up to the child to use them however he or she sees fit. As the boys grow, they think of new things to use these for.
As a young baby, I've seen them use the mini bilibos as a bowl to put things in and out of, to hide other toys temporarily, and to bang on the floor or table in a most satisfying way. None of that sounds very exciting, but it's developmentally appropriate and holds baby's attention. Plus they love it when I spin it on the table like a top. I usually throw one in the diaper bag when we go to a restaurant or the doctor's office.
As they've gotten older, the mini bilobos are most popular as sand and water toys, but they are also used while playing with other toys- as little garages for hotwheels cars for instance, or a boat for little people or animals, and most recently a tiny "hobbit hole". I'm not sure what other uses they've seen, but I can certainly say we've gotten more than our money's worth out of them.

These little mini bilibos are about the size of a small cereal bowl and are made of a very sturdy plastic - I can flip it over and put my full weight on it and it will only flex slightly. They are definitely made for anything the little ones can dish out. There are two in the package as shown.
My children got the big bilibos for christmas, so I thought the minis would be a good addition and I was right. They are thoroughly enjoying them, they use them to put things in (right at the moment, marbles), to hide things under, to sit their stuffed animals in and make helmets out of. They have used them in concert with their blocks and other creative toys. A very neat toy.

I bought these mini bilibo's for my toddler twins. They played with them a little bit with their others toys, but not too much.
I took them into the bathroom and let them use them for bath....and voila!! Instant fun!! THEY LOVE THEM IN THE BATH!!
The mini bilibo's make excellent bath toys and also excellent toys for the beach, sand table, water table, kiddie pool, etc.
They are fantastic for ages newborn to age 6.

My kids are doing all kinds of things with these toys, as they should be. They are compact to store and can be used in water, dirt, sand, just about anywhere! They have help marbles, cars, pompoms, snacks, water and tiny animals.
Great imaginative toy!

I thought that my grandkids would love these little bilibos as much as the big ones but no, they don't actually play with them very much even when I suggested uses such as doll bowls, hiding places for small stuffed animals, etc. Oh well, they like the big ones a lot.
