Really a super toy Dec 09, 2010
By CactusPixie We have the game box set of bilibo Pixel which also came with mini bilibos in addition to the "dice" and chips. This is super! My kids love this. They play Tiddly winks, make up games, and so much more. I ordered a second set to use the chips to help with math skills-addition, subtraction, sorting, patterns, sets, and ect. The bilibos are mini gnome houses, with the chips as paths. The chips can be strung on string. The chips are treasures or currency during free play. Really the only limiting factor to this set is your imagination. The older my children get the more they come up to do with this! (My children range from 4- 10). The chips are small so keep them away from babies. The reviewer above said her child was 2-that would be much too young to invent-but as you get older it is a very open ended game!

MY TODDLER LOVES THIS! Feb 14, 2011

I have a 2 1/2 year old boy that is wild! He loves to run around and few toys hold his attention. Unless they have wheels! But these, he LOVES. He likes to sort the chips (we have the mini bilibos too, they're great as well). He's too young to understand and play a game of tiddliwinks but it's great for his fine motor skills to try and pop the little chips across the floor. He gets all excited when they go a long way. The discs are not easy to get into the dice but he can do it with a little bit of help. All in all, I think this is a fantastic toy. The best part is that it can grow with your child. When they're bored, just put it up for a few months and it will be like new again!

For Ages 4+ Sep 08, 2008

I thought I could make up some games with my 2 year old but his little fingers cannot put the buttons onto and off of the pixel. I will save it for when he is older. He likes walking around with it in his hand and throwing it but I don't want him to lose the pieces.
