Not for Infants as stated by Amazon May 31, 2010
By M. Capasso I ordered this puzzle for my 1 year old because it says it is for 1-3 years. When I received the puzzle the packaging actually says it is for 3 years and up and there is 0-3 symbol with a cross through it. The little wood pegs must be a potential choking hazard. I am sending it back even though I really like the look of these puzzles and that they are non-toxic. I give it five stars because it appears to be well made and looks like it is a good educational puzzle.

I am impressed! Feb 26, 2010
By Angie M I will definitely buy more Kid-O products for my girls. This puzzle is great! I was not expecting the quality product that I received since I am used to the ho hum quality of Melissa and Doug puzzles, as well as others with all their stickered fronts. I purchased 3 Kid-O puzzles at the same time and when they all arrived, I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed! They are all actually painted and this one in particular is painted on both front and back of each piece. The knobs are screwed on securely, not glued. All the edges are smooth and well sanded too! To help those that are also visual like myself, this puzzle is 4.75" x 12". The perfect size for its design and well worth buying!

I bought this for my two year old as he loves puzzles. I'd say it's a Montessori style puzzle, teaching both size and color value.

this puzzle looks very simple and maybe not too interesting for a 2 year old..WRONG..it's wonderful. my 2 year old son will play with this for a good 15-30 min without getting bored and really enjoys it. it's solid construction, environmentally friendly and a wonderful concept toy. you can't go wrong.

Excellent versatile activity May 11, 2011
By O. Fischer I got this for my 24mo child. I "played" with it at first which caught my daughter's attention. All the pieces removed was a little overwhelming for her, but I found removing only one piece and offering it to her to put back really did the trick. Moved on to two pieces, then three pieces. Then all pieces removed and offering her just one to find the right slot to put in. So beyond demonstrating the puzzle, as well as putting it away as soon as interest wanes or she got too frustrated it requires very little input because it's self-correcting (it's obvious when a piece just doesn't fit). Just removing the pieces and lining them up neatly is an activity too.
I also have the blue shortest to tall puzzle which I also think is top notch.
