The whole family loves Automoblox. Mar 31, 2009 These are so great! Once you get a couple you can mix them up. Lots of fun and durable.
Interesting toy Jan 09, 2009 We have several versions of these automoblox cars and they are some of the coolest toys we have seen. You can take them apart and put them back together or you can interchange the parts of one with the parts of another.
The color on this one is very vibrant and the car itself is durable as always. It is a great size and shape for my 2 year old who can't get enough of cars, trucks, and trains.
I do worry that the pieces will somehow find its way into "Davy Jones' locker of lost toy pieces" but that's the risk of purchasing a toy like this one. Also, it seems that the grown ups in the family appreciate this toy more than the children do. My son doesn't seem to mind, as long as he can get some play time with it.
A big con to this beautiful wooden car (with some plastic pieces) is the price. $30+ dollars for a toy car!! The design is great however, I don't think it's worth more than $20, but that's just my opinion. Nice and recommended, but like I said, the price...pfft!
Automoblox Cars are Great Aug 05, 2008 I've given Automobolox cars to nieces and nephews several times over the past few years. They are a huge hit. They are sturdy, attractive and the kids have a great time with them. They can mix and match the components and create their own play narratives which is so beneficial to them in this time of pre-packaged entertaiment and closed-ended style toys. I only wish Automoblox was around when my kids were younger. They would have played with them constantly.
Fun and educational for my 3 year old May 20, 2008 These cars are great, very sturdy and small enough to bring along. My 3 year old son loves taking them apart and putting them back together in new ways. It has helped him learn his colors and shapes, while allowing him to be creative. He pretends to have the people talk and go places in the cars, which I then use as an opportunity to introduce him to different kinds of destinations (such as a school, zoo, beach, stores, etc) using his other toys as props.
I can honestly say that for my little boy who already liked cars, these toys have captured his imagination more than any other toy.

Great, but get it from Target for half the price Apr 26, 2008 These are a lot of fun for both my 2.5 year old and my 6 year old. They both enjoy taking them apart and putting them back together, including mixing and matching different parts. The wheels are little less durable than the other parts.
The big issue is the price on Amazon (via Fat Brain Toys). You can find these same cars at Target for about half the price.
