Good for developing balance Jun 23, 2010
Two year old loves this toy. We keep it on a high shelf because she's too young to play without adult supervision (small pieces), but she is always pointing at it "that one" wanting to play with it. One of us plays with her. Good for teaching how to take turns, and helping her develop balance.
Just Challenging Enough Jan 09, 2009
This was a Christmas gift for our almost 4-year-old daughter. Even though she loves it when the boat tilts and all the pieces fall off, she is learning quickly how to place the pieces so that does not happen too soon, or to her! It's a relatively quick game and easy to play. My almost 7-year-old enjoys it, too. She mastered it quickly.
If we can keep all the pieces together, this game will last a long time. The pieces are very small, so I'd be extra vigilant if I had a baby in the house.

My son loves this game! It teaches you shapes along with playing well with others. It's a little like Janga for kids. It teaches kids to balance things well to make the game last longer. Fun!!!!

I bought this for my three year old. He really loves it. It promotes thought process and outcomes. You also learn shapes and colors. I completely recommend this. Comes in a handy storage tube, so the little pieces do get lost. Good price too for the hours of fun. It could even be a grown-up toy!
Great eco-friendly game Apr 25, 2008
This game is a lot of fun for the whole family (of over 3s as there are a lot of really small pieces). This teaches shape recognition and balancing in a fun way. We also have our daughter count the pieces as we put it away. The average game is approx 5 minutes and it really is fun to play with our child. I like that all of the pieces tuck back into a little bag and it storeseasily in it's container! This makes a great eco-friendly gift as well!
