Rapido May 01, 2009
By DebD This is a unique toy with an excellent concept. I use it at work with special needs kids. It is fast and fun and the kids love it. It is very educatioal, teaching pattern concepts and using lots of coordination skills. There are a few problems with it though. Some of the bamboo tubes, while eco-friendly and very PC have split. ( They would be better if made of PLASTIC.) The rope (which is like a corral) could be thicker; if you are not really careful the balls jump the rope and escape madly about the floor. And there are not nearly enough pattern cards and they are not really graded (for difficulty level) in any coherent way, so I had to make a dozen more of my own out of poster board. Overall, a good toy though. Just make some more of your own patterns, and be prepared to chase balls across the floor.

Fast Fun for everyone Sep 19, 2011
By L. Lewis I am a pediatric occupational therapist and bought this game for my students. I love it for many reasons! The game pieces are very durable being the wooden slats and the wooden marbles. I just wish there were more game patterns to choose from-perhaps coming up with a booster pack would work! I love the fine motor components of the game of having to put the marbles into the tube to begin and you can have the students practice in-hand manipulation skills for returning the marbles to the bag. I had a little trouble initially with the corral/rope as it didn't meet the table (from having been curled up) and some of the marbles escape, but it has been more manageable as we have played more games. This game works on speed, but also visual memory and sequencing as well as change of gaze and fixation.

Doesn't entertain for long Oct 02, 2010

I got this game to help with my kids' motor skills. The overall quality of the product is great. The major downfall is the rope that is made to contain the balls. It comes twisted out of the box and will not lay flat. This means that the balls roll right underneath. I think a better material could have been used. I will have to get a wooden hoop or something to use instead.
Once I had worked the rope for a while, it would contain most of the balls. For my 4 and 6 year olds to play and successfully complete both levels of the game took less than 5 minutes. Then they were done. This game could have been greatly improved by adding more game cards and colored balls with increasing levels of difficulty. As it is, we will pull it out occasionally for a quick activity, but don't expect it to entertain for long.

By Lidija I have bought this for my 3 year old to give him when he is older. I don't push my child to know all the colors and alphabet at age 3, therefore, he is not ready for it. It seems to be very educational and interesting toy. There was a promotional price, so I purchased it right away. Since I haven't used it, I can't say much, but it certainly looks durable and fun. Shippment was supper fast by amazon. It seems like a toy for 5-6 year-olds
