Wonderful & Bigger Than It Appears Jan 25, 2011
By Kerridwen Eliot Henry I just want to echo what everyone else has said. This is a great puzzle. When I saw the preview picture, I imagined it was miniature size, but it's about as tall as a piece of paper.
This puzzle is a great way to teach questioning preschoolers about the body - the corresponding girl puzzle can be used with it to teach the basic difference between girls and boys (if asked) and everything else helps reinforce how similar we are.
There are only two things that I don't like about the puzzle: 1. It is only available as a pale skinned caucasian. 2. The boy and girl puzzles are ALMOST the same size, but not truly interchangeable. This makes it very hard if your child wants to work on both puzzles side by side, because it will look like the arm piece would fit in either puzzle, but actually it is will only fit flush on one of them. Besides being annoying, this also takes away from the message that both boys and girls have mostly similar body parts (same kind of lungs, same skull, etc).

Fantastic! Dec 30, 2009
By D. Turner This puzzle is fantastic! I had to show my 3.5 year old how to put the puzzle together the first time he used it but after that he was a pro at putting it together and taking it apart. He take it apart/put it together over and over again for awhile. He finds it fascinating and loves to talk about all the different body parts. I will explain to him what each body part does and he loves it - it's a very educational puzzle! This puzzle is made of solid well made wood - would last forever. Totally totally recommend!!!

Excellent puzzle Nov 08, 2007
By Kimberly R. Wier I saw my 2.5 year old son put this puzzle together in his daycare room. I was impressed and his teacher told me that all the kids love the puzzle and can put it together (room is 2-3 year olds). It's a great opportunity to talk about the different parts of the body. The teacher has been so impressed with the puzzle she went out and bought the Seasons one for the classroom.

Detailed, well-made, and LARGE puzzle perfect for preschool kiddos Mar 01, 2012
By sassymom When this puzzle arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by how big it is. The puzzle measures about 5 inches wide by 11 inches tall. It is VERY well made of wood, with detailed illustrations. Very durable, very detailed. Each layer depicts a little boy's body accurately: from clothed exterior, to musles, bones, and organs. This is a wonderful tool to help curious preschool kiddos learn about their bodies and begin to grow a curiosity and interest in anatomy and science.
Very pleased with this super well-made and lovely puzzle.

By Mark Friendlich We got this puzzle for my 3.5 year old for Hanukkah. He is loving it! If you have a kid who is interested in how the body works and likes puzzles I don't think you will go wrong with this product... it is well made, educational, and fun!
