Unique lacing board May 12, 2010 This is a great and very unique lacing board. My son, age 4, loves to attach the various items to the tree. I think he would've liked it younger and will continue to use it for quite some time. It did break fairly immediately (tree base came off of tree top) probably from being stepped on by one of my children. It is still completely usable, however, and my son actually requested that I not glue it so that he can attach the two parts himself.

Great Toy Mar 23, 2010 My son loved it. Sad to see that some people find it doesn't hold a child's interest. I say you know your child best, so if a thought provoking toy that doesn't require batteries doesn't interest your child than why buy it? Stick with the flashing lights and a bleeping toys I guess. And toys that come with storage I find inconvient. I have my son's play areas set up a certain way with storage options I purchased and having a toy that comes with a little box is wasteful in my house. How hard is it really to find a tupperware in your cupboards anyway? Little snarky...sorry.

Great toy but be careful with tiny pieces though Feb 01, 2010 This is a great toy. My 3 year old son loves it. Only down side is that the pieces are so small and definitely a choking hazard. Consequently, we don't get to play with it much because I can only let my older son use it when the my 1 year old is napping.
doesn't hold interest Nov 02, 2009 nice idea - but doesn't hold interest, and child doesn't necessarily get that he can criss-cross and make up as he goes....hard to keep all the little pieces in tact, wish there was some kind of storage box. wouldn't buy it again...
Beautiful but not perfect. Aug 27, 2009 I got this for my almost 4 year old last Xmas. I was more excited about it than she was. She found it frustrating as the cords are very long and hard to play with for short arms.
It is very well made but all those pretty leaves and animals are hard to keep in one place. It would be nice if it came with a nice storage bag, but since it doesn't a ziploc does the trick.
