My daughter just loves this! She can create a mushroom by putting half of the egg on the salt shaker. The tray doubles as a pretend stove. The hard boiled egg is cracked and then the sunny-side-up egg is put where the egg would come out.
This set is great fun and looks better than the pictures. I think plastic toys come out better in pictures than wood ones because they are more reflective. But these look and feel much better. The grain on the bread is just lovely. I'm very happy with this purchase!

This set is a great way to get your toddler interested in eggs. I love that there is a fried egg and a boiled egg that "cracks" The salt and pepper make noise as you shake them over the food. You can even make a Bacon egg and cheese sandwich, that stays flat. I don't know why there is a bun included with this set, but maybe that is for other cultures. GO DIVERSITY!! The sausage is a little scary looking, looks more like a hot dog and Grace uses it to stir things with. Oh well, you can't expect every toy to look like the food you serve. The tray is fantastic. It's a great way to encourage walking carefully, so nothing tips. It stores everything when not in use. I am happy to report that Grace has tried eggs, unfortunately, still does not like them, but I am hopefull!

This set is made of very hard wood not like other wooden toys. This set is perfect for any child who loves to pretend to cook. However, this set has small pieces that can definitely be swallowed so I strongly suggest following the companies age guide. The salt and pepper shakers are quite small and the sausage is quite narrow all of which could be a choking hazard!

This is a great accessory for my 21 month old daughter's play kitchen. We have several of thep Plan Toy food sets and they are all extremely durable becuase they are made of wood, unlike most of the food sets which are plastic (and often get chewed by our dog). My daughter especially loves the hard boiled egg and the salt and pepper shakers.

My 3-year-old daughter loves to play with this set. She especially likes the salt and pepper shakers because they are so realistic. She also likes to carry around the tray and serve the food from it. The food is the perfect size for her hands and is proportional to her kitchen play set. These durable wooden toys are providing hours of imaginative play.
