I got this place mat for my daughter who is almost two. It works fine but it does not stay in place and as you wash it, the colors really start fading after only a few uses. I would recommend using this for older children who already have some sort of table manners. Mine just throws her food on it and then dumps the whole place mat with food on it on the table. Otherwise, it serves it purpose when she doesn't make a mess.

This place mat is really cute, but very flimsy and has no padding. I definitely prefer the place mats that I purchased from PB Kids.
