Fun Blocks Jun 29, 2009 I originally was looking for STACKING blocks, so when I received these in the mail I was bummed at first. My son on the other hand was thrilled! He LOVES these blocks. I can still stack them and he loves to push them over! Not only that but he thews on them constantly. Not one has splintered yet. The corners aren't sharp (a positive), They're small enough for him to grab (@ 6 months of age)... another positive... and they are safe for him to put in his mouth. All in all, not what I was looking for, but turned out to be a great buy!
Beautiful Blocks! Jun 09, 2009 These blocks are beautiful, durable and easy to use. They make all our other alphabet blocks look pale in comparison. They have a letter, number sign and an animal on each block, which makes them very educational. My baby and toddler love them and are more attracted to them than the other blocks we have. I also love the blocks and have used them on occasion to decorate, spelling words around the house. The embossing on them is lovely.
Excellent Blocks Jun 03, 2009 We love these blocks. Our daughter started to play with these blocks at the age of four months. She would sit in her peapod and knock them over or just gum them. Later she started to move them from hand to hand. Now she loves to sit and knock them over. They are also motivating her to crawl, because she wants to knock them over so badly. They look brand new, even after the constant chewing, stacking, and knocking down. We have since purchase these blocks for our friends and niece. We highly recommend them.
Unbelievable blocks May 11, 2009 These blocks are amazing. I bought them for my 5 month old boy. They fit perfectly in his small hands. He loves to chew on them. I wondered why so I chewed on one myself and it turns out that the wood smells good. At first I was worried my son might be hurt by the sharp corners and edges but there is no problem with edges, corners or splintering. They stack extremely well and are very lightweight, you can even 'roll' them along the floor. My baby loves seeing new blocks magically roll into his reach. I was so surprised by all the different things they teach; numbers, subtraction, division, animals, letters, words. The blocks are tactile with different patterns etched in. My son loves them so much. I love playing with him, stacking them in ways and seeing how many words I can make with three random blocks. Great fun for adults to play along with their children.
Great Blocks Apr 26, 2009 These blocks are well made and beautiful. We love them and have also purchased these blocks in other languages for friends as baby and Hanukkah gifts.
