Since my dad loves sudukos so much, I thought this would be a nice change for him. But the "cheat sheets" are so small, it's really hard to tell a couple of the colors from each other. Also as people age, they have a harder time telling shades of blue and green for example - so it would have been better to make one of the colors white and another color black, instead of shades of the same color. I ended up giving it to my newphew and he likes it!

This was a Christmas gift for my young adult daughter who loves Sudoku. She's an engineer and math geek and she really loved the game. But we also found that other family members who weren't so math oriented like it as well.
This is most certainly a coffee table game and not a travel game. I was amazed by the quality of the construction - the base is beautifully made from solid wood. The marbles are unique, also made from wood, then painted. It comes with a generous number of puzzle cards that are perforated in order to split them up and place in a card box which is included. There is also an answer key that can be kept in the bottom of the box. It takes a few minutes to get used to working the puzzles with color instead of numbers but otherwise it's an easy game to play (until you try the more challenging puzzles). One thing I found interesting is the color to number key. You can use this to convert any traditional number Sudoku game a color based game.
Overall, it was a very successful purchase and I feel it provides excellent quality for the money.
