Simple and inexpensive!! Nov 15, 2009
By Digman I purchased two sets of these. One for me and one for my 2.5 yr old granddaughter who lives on the west coast. I use them to help keep her attention during webcam calls. She enjoyed creating her own puppets. She loves hers and takes them everywhere she goes. My family enjoys the puppets as well. There are small pieces, so little ones need to be supervised. We now look forward to our coast to coast puppet shows.

My six year old got it for Christmas and we had a lot of fun putting together the puppets. There is a lot of extra dress up material so we were able to make more than just the three included socks.

Not impressed Apr 21, 2011
By D. Miller I purchased this toy for my 2.5 year old and 4 year old daughters. They loved the Alex brand animal bag puppets (a great value!) and I thought these would be fun. The puppets had a strong chemical odor that left me with a headache. Very little that my girls could do on their own....too few embellishments. Overall, not so much fun and pricier than I feel was appropriate.

Eh. Dec 27, 2010

Neat concept and all but it took us all of 10 minutes to put all 3 sock puppets together and I really don't think they're going to last all that long. Everything except the hair (which is sewn on using the provided needle) just sticks on with little pieces of double sided tape. It's also very difficult (even with finger nails) to get the paper off the back of the stickies.
All in all, it was fun for the time it took to make them and they'll be fun to play with while they last, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Best Birthday Gift! Aug 15, 2010

Grandma sent this toy to my daughter for her 6th birthday, and I sat down with her, my 3 year old, and my 1 year old and helped them each make a puppet. It was a BLAST. The only thing that really required adult help was getting the pom-pom on, using the included plastic needle, but other than that, they were able to stick everything on themselves. They have spent so much time playing with them, and--granted--the 1 year old has pulled the eyes off and some of the stickers off, but we've stuck them back on alright. Three months, and still playing!!
