great for 3 year old Nov 12, 2007
By DandL's Mom My almost 3 year old son loves jigsaw puzzles, so we've bought a lot of them. The quality of this product is outstanding. The pieces are large and durable. The carrying case is a great addition (he's quickly broken the box that every other puzzle comes in). And, the case has also doubled as suitcase for some fun imaginative play. The price is quite a bit higher than the little boxed puzzles because the quality is so much better. We will definitely be buying another puzzle from this company soon.

Great puzzle Jan 07, 2007

My three year old loves this puzzle. It's very durable and stands up to use after use. I also like the small carrying case -- much easier to keep all the pieces together than cardboard boxes which fall apart. Definitely recommend for two to four year olds.

Well worth the cost Feb 21, 2009

This is the best floor puzzle I have ever seen (this, and the others from Crocodile Creek that also come in the carrying cases). First off, the carrying case is great both for storage and as a separate toy for carrying all sorts of things around. My 2 1/2 year old can go get this off the shelf by himself and open it up to play with it. Then the puzzle itself is fabulous. A child can put together each picture and then join them to the other sections/pictures, so it's very easy to navigate for a little guy. And the pieces are exceptionally well constructed, and laminated on both front and back, so they are virtually indestructible. Also, other floor puzzles that are not as well made curl up and don't fit together well after a short while. This is just not a problem with this puzzle. The puzzle is still perfect, and he plays with this at least 4 times a day, every day. This is the first floor puzzle he can do almost entirely on his own without us laying it out for him. And he absolutely loves it. Forget other floor puzzles and just get the full line of these. Absolutely worth the cost.

High quality and engaging puzzle Nov 27, 2008
By Gabriel's Buddy My almost 3 and 3 year olds love this puzzle. First, it has dinosaurs on it in vivid colors. Second, the puzzle is broken down into eight sub puzzles (2 to 8 pieces each) so my son can do each dinosaur separately and then join them together at the end or make it as one big puzzle. It teaches them to divide a bigger task into smaller ones. Third, the carrying case is fun and each like carry it around.
The pieces are large the cardboard is thick. Some pieces are damaged but that is because it is used so much, almost everyday for the past few months.
There are other puzzles by the same folks. For the younger I recommend this or the sea creatures or any puzzle that is divided into sub puzzles. Once they master that, move up to one without the boarders, such as the construction trucks.
We love it and will buy others.
A great puzzle for toddlers Jan 17, 2011
By C. McBride My 2.5 year old son received this for Christmas and has put the puzzle together every day since then. I thought it would be too difficult for him and we did have to help him the first few times, but now he's figuring it out on his own. The different colored backgrounds for each section help make it easier, but overall the puzzle is still a fun challenge for 2.5-3.5 year olds. The carrying case is also great. I'm definitely going to buy one or two more puzzles like this for him and try to work out some swaps with friends, too.
