My son is really interested in the ocean, so this place mat has been very entertaining at the dinner table. The illustrations are nice, and the place mat is easy to clean. It is also very thin and lightweight, so it is easy to store. My only complaint is that the picture has gotten scratched off a little from being scrubbed with a scratchy sponge, but that's my fault. We have a few other Crocodile Creek place mats, and they are all favorites.
