Multicultural joy for a changing face of the US Sep 03, 2008 I bought two. One for my son (2 1/2) and one for his friend's 3rd birthday party. So much better than the original memory game. Children naturally notice the similarities that people have regardless of skin pigment, eye color, hair and dress. The pictures definetly lead to higher thinking level quetsions.
I could see this used in a pre-school to 1st grade classroom by partnering with a geography lesson.
We need more 'toys' like this.
Fun and educational at the same time Jun 17, 2008 We played this at a friend's house and have been hooked ever since! My 4 year old son and his friends love it because it is fun. I love it because the quality of the game is great (nice sturdy cards on board not flimsy paper but small enough for little hands) and it offers up a multicultural experience for my son, teaching him that there are lots of different looks of kids around the world. I buy this as a gift for every 4 & 5 yr old birthday party we go to, especially for the girls. It makes a great, unique gift. Wish I could find it at stores around our city, but so far can only find it online.
Love the faces! Jan 28, 2008 I bought this game to play with my 3 and 4 year old grandchildren. They really liked it. I'm hoping we can all remember the countries the kiddos are from after playing it awhile. The quality is excellent. We have other memory games but these are much thicker and more sturdy.
I Never Forget A Face Memory Game Nov 20, 2007 TERRIFIC GIFT IDEA! My 4 year old boy LOVES to play this game. It is his favorite game. He's usually easy distracted by so many different toys and games, but he will sit STILL playing his MEMORY GAME and he will play and he is entertained for a long time... WORTH THE MONEY!

educational and fun Jul 01, 2007 I agree with the other reviewers that the pictures are fantastic of all of the children, but wanted to point out the box mine came in (maybe all the boxes?) shows each child's picture with the name of their home country. My 3 and [....] play the game and shout out the names of the countries the children are from as they play. It's so great to hear my kids yelling "Tanzania!" and "Norway!" and "Puerto Rico!" while they flip the cards. I highly recommend this game for your own kids, kids you know, birthday presents for ages 3 and up. Our whole family plays together and the kids sometimes beat the adults : ) We also love eeBoo's "Life On Earth" matching game with amazing illustrations of various flora and fauna on our planet.
