Nice Solid Wood Car Feb 25, 2013

Overall I really like this dump truck. It rolls well on tile floors & thin carpeting and my daughter has had a lot of fun playing with it so far. It's made of solid wood with water based paints so I like that it's a safer option than plastic. My only complaint is that the paint lacks durability. The truck arrived with a couple chips in the paint initially and after just a short period of gentle play had several more.

My son loves this truck. He plays with it all the time and uses it as a hammer. Overall very happy with the truck, I have gotten more Hape toys and love each of the ones. I would say that Hape is a great children's toy company.

Cute little truck. 7 month old likes to push it around and chew on it. When she's more coordinated, she will be able to take the block on and off. I see getting a couple of years of play out of this toy.
Wish I had gotten one handmade in the USA by a grandpa with a wood shop instead though.

I bought this to keep my son occupied during family pictures. I wanted something that would look cute in the pictures but still keep him entertained and happy. It did the trick and I love that the back comes off. He loves taking it off and putting it back on. He likes to push it and drop it on the tile. I guess wood makes a fun noise when you drop it!
