Really adorable toy, brightly painted in interesting shapes. I think my 3 year old really enjoys threading the kebabs and using the tongs to place the odd shapes onto the little grill. It comes apart and together nicely and has great texture. I think it's an amazing buy to improve motor skills, counting and make believe. My 5 year old loves playing hibachi and sushi shop with this set too!

I have a chest of toys for my nieces and nephews (2-5) to play with when they visit. I thought this would be a fun addition--it's super cute, really durable, and teaches them about food other than hot dogs which I like. But they really aren't that interested in it. It's all relative-- I'm somewhat of a toy junkie so we have some great toys in there, so maybe this one just isn't that loved compared to the others. My only other complaint is that there isn't anything to keep the shish-kabob food on the skewers-- it always falls off the top-- it needs another ball like the one on the bottom of the skewer.

good for pretend play and educational value as well. Early math skills ~ Sequence & patterns with kebobs & good for fine motor skills as well.
