I gave this toy two stars because they are adorable. Much cuter than most other dolls like this. However they will only be cute if you just put them on display. I got these for my daughters and when they arrived two of the dolls already had some of the paint off of their eyes. I figured I could fill this in with permanent marker. However within ten minutes of my girls getting these the wings had fallen off, the hats and head bands were coming loose and one of the skirts was starting to unravel. I returned them and got a refund. I did get some of the fairy forest lodge furniture and it seems to be holding up better so far.

My daughter received these as a Christmas gift this year (2008) and they are perfect! She also received the Fairy Forest Kitchen and Bedroom set. We added these to her Amazon.com wish list to go with the Maxim Deluxe Tree House. These fairies are absolutely perfect and my 2 1/2 year old daughter wants to play with her 'dolls' every day.

Wonderful, except for the wings! Jul 18, 2010

These dolls are adorable. We have them to go along with the Fairy Forest Lodge, and many of the accessory furniture sets that you can purchase for the Lodge.
The dolls are a nice size, perfect for toddler hands. The heads and hands are made from natural wooden beads, yarn for hair, and clothes made primarily from felt with some organza ribbon for skirts and dresses, with some metallic ribbons and thread accents. The arms and legs have wire in them and are easy to move and position. The dolls sit up nicely, but best of all, their flat wooden feet make them STAND straight and tall!
My one complaint is the wings. They're made from bits of dyed feathers glued to the backs, and were shredded and looking nothing like wings after the dolls were played with just once. I hope that Enchantmints will change their design and use a different material for the wings in the future. I cut some wing shapes from scraps of felt and attached them to our dolls with some craft glue. I still give the dolls 5 stars because they are otherwise well made, cute, and my kids love them.
As another reviewer said, the skirts made of organza will fray, but on dolls this tiny I don't expect a lot of sewn seams. I treated the edges of any areas that had started to fray with a bit of FrayCheck, or you could use clear nail polish or some watered down white school glue. We have not had problems with any of the other clothes or pieces coming off and our dolls have been played with for the past 7 months by a toddler who is now 3, and a baby/toddler who is now 17 months old.

I bought these with the Fairy Forest Lodge and Living Room set. I think these are extremely adorable little dolls. They are a tad shorter than other similar doll house figures of similar make, which is fine since these are fairies. Unfortunately, they have not held my daughter's interest. She prefers to use the lodge with other toys and the fairies are left sitting idle.
