great way to learn geography Nov 30, 2009
By R. C. Galinsky Very cool cards with capitals on one side and countries on the other. There are 50 cards, about 10 from each continent. There are rules for games like "war" and "borders" that I played with my kids. Very fun way to introduce basic world geography to kids.

Great Cards! Apr 26, 2011
By C. Lenschow These cards are nice and large and beautifully designed. They are laminated so are very sturdy. I'm not a teacher but I think these would be great for classroom use. Each card has information on country population and land area, and has a great map of the surrounding countries so you can get a sense of relative location. Lots of fun games to play, plus we made up our own!

Fun way to learn world geography May 13, 2011
By Geowhiz A great interactive (people to people, not people to machine) way to get a good grasp of world geography and of what is where. The rules of the game are both simple and stimulating and the cards are sturdily made. Educational, but not heavy-handed. GeoCardsWorld should in the repertory of every family.
Great at the dinner table... Jan 26, 2012

I was looking for a way to inject some high-brow fun at the dinner table -- something easy to "play" that didn't require a lot of room or time. These cards have been a hit with the kids (ages 10 and 12) even though there was some resistance at first. The cards are sturdy and over-sized compared to typical flash cards. They are also very colorful. You can hold up the card and someone on the other side of the table can easily see and read it. At the end of dinner, we spend a few minutes competing with each other in remembering countries and capitals. I wish there were more than 50 cards. Great product!

My son loves cards. He used the card to search for countries on computer. It's educational and fun.
