Good for younger kids May 09, 2008
By Brian M. Eakes This is a good game to teach kids about the United States. Fairly easy to play, but also very easy to modify for younger kids to join in. Great way to involve the kids in picking vacation spots.

Very good for children. Feb 05, 2009
By drewg I first ran into this game in 2007 at Mensa's Mind Games in Pittsburgh, PA. It consists of many "postcards" of different places in North America that you have to get to. The board and cards are very durable and the pictures on the cards are well done.
It is an excellent way to teach children geography about where place in North America are located.

Very Original and Neat Game to Learn Geography Apr 29, 2011
By R. C. Galinsky I love this game, as a geography buff! There are 64 actual postcards from different places in the US and Canada, and the goal of the game is to "visit" the places on the board that correspond to the Postcards. To do that, you have to roll the dice and figure out the best way to get from one place to another. I like this game because it teaches kids where places are in our country, and the Postcards are really cute!
What a fun way to teach geography Dec 30, 2011

I do not home school but wish I had to confidence to do so. I am always looking for fun ways to teach boring subjects to my 7-year-old. Postcards from America is really fun (she asks me to play it with her), teaches both geography and things of national interests. Combine the game with your yearly vacation and you can really make geography meaningful. we will see in a few years when she is old enough to compete in geography b's just how much of a value this game and the geo puzzles are, but I am banking on raising a geographically knowlegable child!
