Pricey but neat Jan 21, 2008 My only problem with this toy is the cost but it is an adorable concept and my 19 month old daughter plays with it alot. I think she'll really love it when she's older.
Realistic eggs for the play kitchen Jan 12, 2008 This toy promotes imagination in your child's "kitchen". These cloth sunny side eggs come out of their metal painted shells and look like the real thing. They are so well made! A child can easily refold the cloth egg and put it back in the shells for a replay of the simulation of cracking an egg open to make a recipe or fry an egg. No cheap little platic parts here. HABA makes really well-made toys - like they used to make years ago. I purchased 3 of these and my daughter loves them for her play kitchen.
"Eggstraspecial" toy Dec 27, 2007 I love this toy but more importantly my 23 month child loves this toy too! It is the perfect size for the play kitchen skillet and pots. Its so nice! We have the Learning Resources fried egg. Its nice but this is better. This egg is awesome because my child loves to "crack" the egg open! Fanstastic toy! The best food item we own and we own a lot of high quality pretend food! We bought 2 eggs and we are glad that we did because it's a very popular toy with the kids. Every meal has an egg in it!
I also recommend Haba's cloth noodles.

Everyone's favorite Nov 15, 2007 This is the best kitchen toy ever! All the adults get such a kick out of it, and my 18 months old plays with it everyday - multiple times. Its a good thing I bought 2 eggs, because when other kids come over for play date they fight over it. The size is not a problem. It helps me teach my daughter the concept of "toy" vs. real thing.
Really Cute Toy Nov 14, 2007 I am pleased with this purchase. The egg is made of fabric and the shell is made of metal. The shell is a little hard to open for children, my son is 4 and it took him a little time to figure out how to open it. None the less this toy is really cute. The first time he got the egg open he was so suprised that there was a fried egg inside!
