Great soft cubes Nov 09, 2009

We had this toy for more than a month already. Not sure my 7-month old quite understands all the things he could do with these dice, but he seems to be enjoying them anyway. I especially like the fact that these are very soft and flexible - I can leave them on the floor with the baby and not worry that he hurts himself if he rolls over them. They are also very light and easy for the baby to pick up. And they hold the shape just fine despite all the chewing and other wear.

I bought this dice set for my daughter when she was 6months old. She is now 8 months and has played with the dice nearly everyday. She absolutely loves the individual blocks and they fit perfctly into her little hands. The smallest blue block appears to be her favorite (I imagine because it's the best size for her to grasp easily), and she keeps it in her hand while crawling around the house. We can't seem to pull it away from her without an objection. I love the dice, too, because they're soft and flexible, so I don't have to worry about her scratching her gums or hurting herself. We're big fans of the soft Haba toys and will be ordering more for her to take with her to daycare.
