have fun learning patterns and shapes Jan 16, 2009
By Brian Woods My 3 year old loves this set of blocks and creating new patterns. She especially likes to have an adult work one half of the puzzle and then she problem solves and works the other half. My 5 year old also enjoys working with the patterns but not as much and she is more independent when working with it. Overall it is well worth the money. I was surprised with how well my kids like to play with it.

Fun for everyone Nov 29, 2007
By Oakland Mama I bought this for "myself" but sometimes let the rest of the family enjoy it (ages 2, 5, 39 and plus all guests). It's beautifully made with very smooth colored wood pieces. You can recreate the patterns on the box or make up your own. We usually "play" it as a game for two people, where each person has one side of the puzzle. One person is the "leader" and the other "follows" by putting pieces in the same pattern as the leader. Have fun while teaching/learning about colors, shapes, sizes, geometric reasoning and patterns!
GREAT EDUCATIONAL TOY Aug 15, 2011
By Anna Jang I bought this puzzle when my son was 3 1/2 years old and now he became 4 years old two months ago. It seemed little difficult at first but now he really enjoys it. He follows the patterns on the box and sometime he creates his own.
The most thing I satisfied w/ this is that my son completes the pattern w/ patience. Great Buy!
Great across many ages Dec 14, 2010

This toy grows with your child. The smallest pieces are choking hazards, so be sure your child is either closely supervised when playing with this toy or no longer puts toys in his/her mouth. My two-year-old builds with the blocks in no particular pattern. The blocks are very colorful and well made with rounded edges. She seems to really enjoy handling them. My five-year-old has been making the patterns shown on the box and of his own creation for over two years now. He has not tired of this toy!
Great puzzle for kids and adults! Jan 07, 2008
By ex-teacher grandma I purchased this wooden block puzzle for my 4-year-old grandson because it looked like (1)a challenging yet attractive puzzle game and (2) the pieces were not plastic and (3) it had a puzzle wooden frame for holding the pieces and (4) since it was made in Germany, I assumed that the EU requirements would not allow lead in the paint.
The game is fun for both kids and adults - there are many variations of putting together the attractive wooden block pieces. It's a quality game/puzzle. It's maybe advanced for a 4 year old, but with adult help, it's a fun time together. I also recommend it for adults.
