 Too expensive, not age appropriate Nov 16, 2008

I purchased the Haba Junior Peg Board at the same time for [...]. I was surprised when they both arrived and were pretty much the same size. The Junior Peg Board was listed for ages 1 1/2 at the time I purchased it, but I still don't let my just turned two year old child play with it unsupervised. It has since been changed to 2 1/2.
As far as the little flower garden, here's my opinion:
Pros:Cute
Cons: Way too expensive for what you get. They should have made it a bit larger. Half the pieces to this toy are choking hazards. I bagged that half up and figure my child can use them when three or older. The holes are small enough on the pieces that they can get stuck easily on little fingers. I keep this toy out of reach and only bring it down for supervised play.
Basically, if your two year old explores by putting things in their mouth occasionally or puts their fingers in holes, this is not the toy for you. It's a toy that I look at and want to kick myself for spending the money on.

My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves this toy. She spends hours playing with it and it is great quality. Durable and will last through many children. I love that it comes with more pieces than will fit on the pegs so it makes for a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it.
