A fantastic doll! Feb 19, 2008

I bought this doll for my 18 month old daughter for Christmas and she hasn't slept without it since! The clothes are colorful and much more durable than some other doll clothes she's received as gifts. Lotta has beans in her bum so that she can sit upright and has oodles of soft chenille hair that can actually be combed and put in a pony-tail. The doll is made of a nice durable canvas-type cloth and I continue to be impressed with its quality, especially with the tough love it gets from my toddler.

Great first dolly for 19 month old! Jan 30, 2010
By Mutti_of_2 Great doll for a child. It can get slobbered on and washed without any problems. I love the fact that it's not loaded with bad chemicals. My daughter loves to play with her doll. It will grow with her. Right now, she carries her around and feeds her cookies at her tea parties. Later, she will practice undressing and dressing the doll; then the hair will get attention. Educational, safe and fun. Love HABA stuff!

Cute and Durable Doll Dec 26, 2009

We purchased this doll for our 23 month old daughter. She loves putting on and taking the clothes off. It's a very durable doll and expect it to last for years. I also love that she can sleep with it since it's a soft doll and like that it's unique. We are very pleased overall with Lotta!!

Dangerous May 04, 2011
By Thomas Bolt The button on the sweater came off RIGHT away--with no rough use--exposing a potentially dangerous piece of metal. This Haba item is made in China, not in Germany where the wooden toys are made. The doll is beautiful and our daughter loved it. If they improve the design and figure out how to manufacture this doll with the same care they give their wooden toys, I would buy it again--but not until they fix their process.

A wonderful friend Mar 01, 2011
By Diane I gave this doll to my daughter last Christmas (she was about 1 and a half at the time) and she has only gotten more popular. The doll is really cute and very well made and I like the way she is sturdy, but still flexible. The clothes are very fun and durable. My only complaints are that the doll is only handwashable not machine washable and the pants are a little tricky to get on and the shoes are very hard to get on. My daughter (almost 3) can get the dress and jacket on and off by herself and can do the shorts if she works at it, but definately not the shoes. I will definitely consider getting a sister for this doll.
