high quality, small number Apr 27, 2009

I purchased these blocks for my 1 year-old son. They are very high quality, smooth, unfinished wood. The mirrors are acrylic but reflect very well, no distortion, & occasionally need polishing with a t-shirt or paper towel. My only complaint is that I wish that there were more blocks in the box; the picture accurately shows only 8 blocks, 4 cubes & 4 rectangles. The box states that this is an accessory set but Amazon does not carry any larger sets.
Great little pack of mirror blocks! Good addition to block sets Jan 09, 2012
By Midwestern Mommy This is a small but nice set that can be an addition to a larger set of blocks. I bought them for my 5 year old special needs child but the are ideal for ages 6 months to 3. My son is amused by his reflection so these are good for him!
Excellent Visual Sensory Block Nov 18, 2011
By Rosa Maria Ortiz Reyes The mirror block has been a hit for my boy who has Sensory Processing Disorder. He likes to stack the blocks while he looks at him self in the block mirrors, so he gets the visual sensory input he needs to keep in the task.
Blocks with a visual Oct 12, 2011
By Mommylicious I bought these blocks for my son's first birthday and he LOVED them! He had already received many other blocks such as the bead blocks and HABA eenie meenie blocks and standard wooden blocks. This was a great set to add to all of his blocks because he loves mirrors and looking at himself. He would even take the bead blocks and move them to see the reflection in the mirrored blocks. He has me wondering what is going on in his mind!
These are definitely high quality blocks and I would recommend them to other parents.
Brilliant! Just brilliant! Sep 24, 2011
By Nefri The castles and towers we build with our Haba blocks are so gorgeous, even I am having a blast working with them. We got one big set of plain blocks (around $100), then we got a set of colored accent blocks also from Haba, and then we got these mirror blocks. We just add a little set each holiday as the kids get older, and eventually we will be able to build towns and cities. And the things we build are so sturdy because of the weight of the blocks, and they are so beautiful because of the brightly painted colors and patters... and then to add mirrors on top of that? Its like living in a kaleidoscope. The mirror edges are covered with wood, so nothing sharp for fingers. Brilliant.
My son is 4 now, and I still really do need to show him how to build various things, like towers, zoos, rockets, and "chicken schools" (his favorite) etc.... at first he just liked knocking them down, and picking up the blocks with his trash truck. Now he is almost 5 and the building interest has just begun. I am so excited about these blocks! A toy that will last for years and years... and then can be passed to his kids too.
