Great game for kids and adults Jan 02, 2008

"Mom of two boys"
I bought this game for my 4 1/2 year old son because he loves anything that has to do with cars. It turns out my husband and I both love playing it with him because it is a little bit more challenging than other board games of this type, like Candy Land. In this game, you have a race track with 3 lanes and each lane has colored squares in it that are staggered with the squares in the lane next to it. Each player rolls 6 colored dice. You advance your car by matching the colored dice with the same colored squares that are adjoined to the square your car is on. Sometimes your roll can give you different routes to take on the track and you have to figure out which sequence of dice will get your car the furthest around the track. After reading the directions, I thought it might be too advanced for my son, but he picked it up pretty quickly and likes playing it and the game is interesting enough for adults too.

love this game Dec 03, 2010
By Jennifer Falkenholm My son received this game as a gift and we love it. He started being able to really play when he was 6 years old. This is one of those games that is equally as fun for adults. The little wooden cars are also so cute--they make the game fun to play:)

Fun for Kids AND Parents! Dec 27, 2011
By MJones What I love most about Haba games is that they are fun for kids and adults alike. This game is fabulous. We have played it with kids and adults, grandparents, parents, etc. Huge hit! Easy, but there is enough strategy to keep it interesting. :)
Great game for little minds! Aug 16, 2011
By JJMom My sons (6 and 4) love to play this game, and I love to play with them. The game requires children to carefully plan out their moves based on what they roll, if they are to advance as far as possible around the game board during their turn. It's an excellent game that encourages planning and strategic problem-solving. I started playing with my youngest son when he was 3, and now at 4 he is able to calculate his moves independent of my input. What's not to love?--this is a great game that pairs racing (something most boys love!) with teaching and strengthening skills of higher mental functioning, as opposed to memorization of concepts.
