My little boy loves these blocks. He likes to move the items inside to their "spots" or just watching them move around. They also make nice musical instruments for him :)

these are great for babies. they can shake them, watch the insides move, click them together, begin to stack and knock down. we bought more haba blocks and these just incorporate into the larger set that my 3 year old plays with. beautiful and excellent quality blocks.

This toy is a great purchase as it can be used as a single block or as a set for building. So far ours have been used as single blocks to explore and "figure out". Have been excellent for car trips.

I am a huge fan of Haba's many interchangable block sets, but on the whole, I regret this purchase. These blocks are pricey, and just not that much fun for kids or adults. They're merely novelties and just not really worth the cost.

my 2 1/2 year old daughter shows no interest in this toy. I wanted to like them, but I think they might be more interesting to babies. for now, they are used as expensive building blocks.
