Pretty good, but not what I thought Nov 10, 2010
By amazonreviewer These are pretty darn cute and fun to play tea time with my daughter, but they are not what I expected after looking at the numerous pictures available online. It seems that Haba has removed all the very pretty beading which make up the sprinkles, embellishments, etc. and replaced them with colored thread/sewn embellishments. Admittedly, this is better for small children and will be safer for my 18 month old daughter to play with (no beads to swallow), but they're just not as pretty without the beading. I bought these thinking I would have to wait a year or so before pulling them out to play with my daughter, but now I don't have to wait. They are perfectly safe the way they are! Ha!

Super cute Petit Fours Oct 08, 2008
By Michelle Price These are the cutest play food I have ever seen, they are so cute I almost didn't want the little one to play with them. They are all really pretty, made of soft material and each have their own little paper holders. I think this would make a terrific birthday gift for a little girl.

Cute! Jun 29, 2009
By K.W. These are too cute. She loves to use them for her little tea parties! They are the perfect size and come in a nice box that she likes to use for them also. They do have small beads on some of them though, so I would recommend them only for an older child that you do not have to worry about them putting them in their mouth.

Completes any child's tea set May 26, 2010
By Irishlawlass I bought these for my niece when I bought her a tea set for her second birthday. I bought a plastic three tier dessert tray to go with the set and added these. They were really cute and her mom likes them too. The one thing I will say is that they are much smaller than they appear. The whole box is probably six inches. But they're neat looking and I love that they're an alternative to plastics. We have the grilling Haba foods and my daughter doesn't put these plush foods in her mouth nearly as often as the plastic stuff (I'm guessing fuzz and cat hair aren't as nice in her mouth as cool, smooth plastic). With all the news stories about the junk in imported kids toys and plastics in general, it's nice to know these plush foods discourage chewing -- at least they do for my daughter. Very cute. Plan to get my daughter a box when she's two and I get her a big girl tea set.

Very deceiving Nov 29, 2011
By Virginia Mom You are not going to get what is pictured when you order this product. They replaced all the beads, except the large white pearl with embroidery. These beads were making this toy so charming. I don't buy the excuse a customer service representative gave me; that the tiny beading was taken away because of choking hazard (if that were true they would have removed the largest pearl as well). I think Haba chose to go the cheap way. What a shame.
