Not for tots just learning to walk Sep 22, 2010

I might have jumped the gun, buying this little pushing car for my grandson who isn't yet one and isn't yet walking on his own. He holds onto things and can walk a bit that way, but this toy is too tall for him to push. He can reach the handle to push it, but more often than not, pulls on it and sits down suddenly, so he hasn't really played with it much--yet. However, I wouldn't down-rate this push car because the child isn't yet ready for it. I bought one of those little metal license plates with his name on it and screwed it onto the front between the painted "headlights". It has turned out to be the perfect place to store the toys that he plays with when he visits me and everyone who sees it loves it. It's beautifully designed (which was why I couldn't wait to buy it), extremely well-made, and looks like it will last many years. I know that when he's bigger and steadier on his feet, he's going to love it.

By Judy C. Steinfeldt This is a toy built of wood as in olden days, not cheap, flimsy plastic. My 1 year old quickly took it and started to walk. The 3 year old joined in and now they take turns pushing each other and they both pile their toys in the back bin. This is a keeper. So satisfied.

By mommyof2 Rather than buying a lot of junky toys we decided to buy just one good toy for our newly one year old. We chose this push car because he is close to walking. He absolutely loves it...although he doesn't have interest in pushing it which is fine because our 3 year old is having a blast pushing him around and he LOVES to be pushed in it!Its really sturdy I love the wooden stuff over the junky plastic ANY DAY! QUALITY over QUANTITY is key when purchasing toys.

Awesome for learning how to walk!!! Aug 09, 2011
By Peanut Mommie We got this push car when our son was 10 months old because he was starting to try to "cruise" around the couch in an attempt to start walking. We decided on this one out of other push cars because Haba seems like a good brand. We were so glad we got it because it only took 3-4 weeks before he was walking without having to hold on to anything. It was amazing! In the beginning, we put some heavy books in it so it wouldn't slip away from him as easily while he was learning to walk. The angle and height of the handle bar is perfect too. Basically, our son was walking by 11 months, which is really early for a boy according to his pediatrician. He still plays with it now that he's almost 17 months old, so it was definitely a good investment. I'd recommend this to anyone who has a baby learning to walk.
Pros: well made, teaches babies to walk, keeps a baby's interest
Cons: maybe a little pricey, but worth it.

Our toddler loves this car! He loves being pushed around in it, but he also loves pulling and pushing it. I'm sure he will paly even more with it when he realizes he can put things in it. It's so fun! And everyone who comes to the house always comments on it as well. It's just a great toy.
