Durable, Safe, Attractive and Fun Feb 09, 2011
By JennieD My daughter enjoys this rattle for teething (especially those blue knobs on either end) and rattling. I appreciate that this is a quality-made item that is taking a good beating from my 7 month old (even with her new game of "make mama fetch my toy after throwing it on the ground"), and that this is a responsibly made toy - i.e., this toy is NOT made of toxic or hazardous materials, potentially toxic materials, or made by slave or child labor. Of my daughter's various Haba toys, this is her current favorite.
Not so sturdy once baby has teeth Jul 06, 2009
By new mom from Canada I bought this toy along with Haba Ballino and Pipapo to replace my son's plastic toys. He has teeth and makes dents in everything. He has had it for over a week and still enjoys to hold, shake, and put it in his mouth. This is the only toy out of the 3 where the paint has chipped off on a couple of edges, maybe because they are not rounded like they are on Pipapo and Ballino. It still beats plastic toys, though.
Great First Toy Apr 14, 2009
By JudiAU This was my infant son's favorite toy. It is safe non-toxic wood and he liked to shake it. It has stimulating colors, similar to other Haba toys, but the noise and movement made this his favorite. We had some other wooden toys that were too heavy for him to manipulate but this is comparatively light and he was able to use it early on. I love Haba toys. Safely made in Germany.

We love most all Haba toys. This is one of my daughter's favorites. She loves to shake it to music.

Yay for rattles Mar 08, 2007
By wcw All the Haba toys we have purchased are well made, and bright and fun. So far, they have all been sturdy and well liked by my daughter from when she was about 3 months old, and she still plays with them at 8 months.
