Great toy for 6 and up Dec 11, 2008

I bought this for my then five year old daughter. She has played with it a couple of times, but it is too complicated for my four year old, so we have to save it for when my husband or I can play with them.
The object of the game is to propel the turtles across the field. The "turtle" is comprised of a wooden ball that rests on top of a four-wheel base. You have to thump the ball with your fingers to push it. This requires some fine motor skills that my younger kids just don't have yet. Even my six year old has trouble keeping her turtle on course.
This is nicely made game with wooden pieces and a child-friendly design. My daughter plays soccer, and she likes that the game field resembles a soccer field. As far as age recommendations, we'll be shelving it until our kids are a little older.
