First of all: This little horse is NOT made in China and this was the main reason I bought it at first (it's made in Germany). My daughter is 6 month old and puts everything in her mouth. It was important to me that her toys are of good quality and made according to strict safety standards. She loves playing with it. It is soft and colorful and has different textures. She explores the shape with her hands and has just recently discovered the mane and tail. I have washed it many times and thrown it in the dryer, it still looks like on the first day! It also looks very cute. Overall: great toy for this age group!

My son began playing with this at 3 months and still enjoys it 7 months later. Very soft and has a rattle inside.
