Just recieved this and worth the 27.00. I was surprised by the quality of the wooden board. Had an even more finished quality than some Melissa and doug toys. The memory cards are plastic type sheets that slide into the board. They are also great quality with simple but lovely illustrations. Matching includes: pets, wild animals, letters, numbers, and colors. I play it with ages 3 and up. It's smaller than I thought, roughly 8 inches by 8. But the great thing about it is you can make your own memory sheets (like family pics, holidays..) and then laminate and add it to the other sheets since kids will eventually memorize the sheets. Great educational toy that they can grow with. Eventually they can make their own matching sheets!

You could not ask for a more beautiful small child's memory game. As with all Kid-o toys, the wooden pieces paired with innovative good design makes this a small, fun game that incorporates many different games into one.
