Just received from Amazon. Toy price was good but shipping fee was extreme. Garage comes in a few pieces but goes together in 10 minutes with a phillips screwdriver. My 3 year old loves the elevator. Seems to be a good quality, durable toy. I think he will have lots of fun with it. It would be helpful if you have a table to put it on so kids can get at it at eye level. My only complaint would be that the garage levels are close together. Hard to get hands in there to move the cars around. As an adult its pretty hard. Seems like my 3 year old does ok but it is a bit awkward.

I just bought this for my 2.5 year old who loves anything with wheels. He had the Fisher Price garage, and just seemed bored with it. I found the Plan City line after buying the forklift and firetruck made for Pottery Barn Kids by Plan Toys. Everything so far seems very durable, safe and has kept my son VERY busy! Not to mention, there are so many things to add to the Plan City, so I feel it's something to "grow" with! We love it! Only problem with it is that my son woke up at 5:00AM...wide awake saying he wanted to play with his parking garage!

This was a gift for our 2-year old grandson. He LOVES it! Aside from some initial trouble with the screws putting it together, it is a well made, durable and sturdy toy!
Matchbox cars, 'Cars' cars and the small wooden one that comes with it all work well.
He plays with it for hours at a time and gets a kick out of using the elevator......
I highly recommend this toy.

This is a great little parking garage. It has put up with my toddler standing on it, but we decided to glue down the removable ramps. The elevator can be tricky, as it sometimes gets overextended and needs to be re-wound by an adult.
Otherwise, a good buy.

We have the plan toy 110 piece train set on a train table in our house. I purchased this garage set for my son for his birthday and he really enjoys it. It does take up 1/4 of the space on a regular train table though. I didn't anticipate it (even with the measurements given) being as large as it is. It does make the $60 price tag make a lot of sense too.
I love the durability and build of the set. Only one car comes with the garage, but there's also a little car wash (that I wish they had integrated into the road system somehow rather than it being a stand-alone) and a parking attendant. It's also great to know that it's made with vegetable dye and not made with hazardous materials or plastic.
