Big fun for all ages. Feb 15, 2008

We received a Plan City playset for Christmas this year and this was purchased as an add on. Every one of the children (ages 1-11) loves the city. Each plays with it in his own way, and they are even able to play together. An especially cool feature of the rescue center is the vehicle launcher that helps the emergency vehicles "fly" out of the garage to the rescue. There is also a landing pad on the roof for the helicopter that came with the main Plan City set. So far these toys have withstood some fairly rough play and still look new.

Plan Toys on the "approved" list for my miracle grandson- "approved" because of construction, paint, design safety - 2 year old child approved because of FUN! Imagination overload takes flight when "driving" the beloved "am-blance" in the the "g'rage" to park. PLAN TOYS: I'm grateful for so many options and nailed this one on the head. Amazon Marketplace provided a swamped granny an awesome way to shop. The best!

Another amazing Plan City wooden toy. Cars are about the size of matchbox cars but are much cuter. Plan City uses vegetable dyes so that there's no concern of lead-based paints. A great wooden toy that will withstand lots of active play.

very cool toy from plan toys - the rescue center is lots of fun. there is a spring in the back that shoots the ambulance or police car from the garage and a helicopter landing pad on top (although no helicopter comes with this set). my 3.5 year old loves this toy.

We got this for my 2 year old along with Parking Garage. I love this, but then again I love Plan toys, amazing products and amazing customer service.
Few things about this toy.
The 'launch' action is really cool, but requires some help from me right now, this may change as he gets older, but spring needs to be drawn back, then the car pushed up to it. Then the spring let go and Boy does it go!
The cars are 2/3 size of a hot wheels car. Still perfect size in my opinion and they really roll fast and far. So if you have Hardwood floors like just watch out for flying cars.
There is one piece I do not like in this set. It is a neat looking control panel, you can kinda see it in the back of the person in the picture. Anyway its really well made, but its made from clear hard plastic glued into wood. Which is also fine, but the edges are squared (Actually its a rectangle but you get my drift)We have a younger son who I'm afraid may hurt is mouth on the edges. They aren't so much sharp, but pointy. Once they are older I will bring this piece out again.
Oh and as with every plan toy I've owned, very durable and well made. Unfortunately, this set has already been stood on by my 33lbs 2 year old. The set shows no damage and can take the beating. I just don't think this toy is meant for jumping off of.
Overall, I love this set and can't wait to expand to other items in the 'city' set.
