For the price we payed, this little dog is cute, modern and fun. Both my preschooler and one year old enjoy playing with this toy in their own ways. Worth the buy. Plus, We love Plan toys. Good quality and great design.

I purchased this for a friend's one year old boy's birthday party. They told me that after he opened this gift, he ignored any other gift they tried to give him and he played with this one all night. That made me so happy. I think this is a perfect gift for a new walker, or a baby who's about to walk. Heck, I am pretty sure that either one of my toddlers (who are years past learning to walk!) would love this dog! He's so cute and looks so willing to follow! I've never gone wrong when it comes to buying Plan Toys. They're a great company, and it's another great toy!

Keeps my toddler moving Dec 04, 2009

My toddler loves taking this puppy on our walks. Because the puppy only goes when he goes, it keeps him moving! The only draw back of the product is that it's not very durable when used outside. Our puppy now has some "bald" spots and and he's flat under the chin from being pulled along the ground. But he has a cute wiggle when he's pulled and the ears are awesome!

It took my daughter (now 21 mos) a while to 'warm up' to this toy, but now she loves it. She says, "Come on, puppy!" and they go for a walk around our apartment. She's pretty rough on toys and it isn't showing any signs of wear after several months. When I first saw it I wasn't sure if she would know what animal it was, because it only has two legs, but she did. This is a very well-made toy that your toddler will love.

My son loves "Puppy." We have a real dog that he likes to "help" train, so when he got his own little wooden puppy, the first thing we did was practice teaching it to "sit," "stay," and "come" (which required a bit of help from me)! It is adorable and a great way for him to pretend to be just like Mommy working with the real dog. I love how it is cute. It isn't an eyesore sitting out in the family room. However, I wouldn't take it outside. Just playing with it inside on our hardwood and tile floors and caused some wearing of the paint. Overall, though, it's a wonderful toy for a dog-loving little one!
