This doll is attractive, soft, and a good size for my tall nearly-two year old. The clothes are easy to take on and off, though the hat is sewed on in a couple of spots. I removed the hat at my daughter's request and now she can put it on and off, but it won't really stay on well--just a warning. ;) Also note that this doll isn't terribly "tan." Without looking at her next to a "white" baby you'd just think she was a brunette--may not be a satisfying choice as an African American or Latino doll.
We bought this with an Umbrella Doll stroller (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CBWWO4/ref=oss_product) and they make a great pairing.

This is a great quality doll! My 1 year old loves hers! My only issues are that I wish the "Tan" doll that I ordered had a little more tan color to her skintone and that she did not come in a package. She came wrapped in a clear bag...not great for gift giving. Other than that we love it and would highly recommend this doll!

I purchased this doll to use in my classroom with three and four-year old children. They love it. It is soft and cuddly. It is a good size for them to hold but not heavy. So far, it has held up well to all the "loving". At the end of the year, I will be able to toss it into the washing machine and get it ready for next year. So far, none of the children have asked about the color of the doll's skin or its features; not sure if it is a reflection of my children's developmental levels or the doll's not realistic look (still cute).

I bought this doll, as well as the blond boy and the brunette girl, for each of my nieces, nephews and grandchildren. I love the fact that this doll is soft, cuddly, and most of all, looks like the different kids in my multiracial family. As another poster noted, it comes packaged in a plastic bag so gift-giving requires the purchase of a gift bag. This is a minor inconvenience for a toy that is well made and as soft as a stuffed animal.

I bought this doll for my daughter who is biracial. Its soft and cuddly and she loves it. My only wish is that it was darker skinned. You really cant tell it isn't white unless a white doll is sitting right next to it. But otherwise its lovely and my daughter adores it.
