Beautiful Streamer, Flutter Unto Me! Jan 28, 2011
By Amy Steele
"quirky mama"
Definitely produced naturally, which is a good thing. We have three of these streamers (two regular sized, one mini) in our joint; one of the decorative balls/streamer "retainer" did come off easily. I believe that this is due to the natural glue that is used to keep the ball and streamer in place, as opposed to chemical-laden glue that can attach and hold burly men and their hardhats to girders. The ball is easy enough to put back in place- either use wood glue like a prior reviewer suggested, or you can even just twist/push it on/tweak it until you feel it is secure (that's my method, don't obsess- just let your hands guide you). I do want to clarify that it is not that these streamers get tangled easily, they just get knots that magically appear here or there on the streamer after maybe, like, three play sessions. Whoa, hold on a minute...I just asked my daughter what she thought about the knot situation, and she confessed that she knots the streamer on purpose and that some knots are natural, so I will have to update this review after experimentation. Anyway, the knots are easily removed, and do not affect the performance of the streamer. I have seen a wide range of prices on this toy, so do your homework first. I sometimes use this ribbon myself, and I swear that I could make it to the Olympic Games with this baby!

silk rainbow streamer May 07, 2009
By Mary B. Purves I gave this to my 5yr old granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it. Especially on New Years Eve she took it outside at midnight and dance around the yard streaming it along. Nice environmentally friendly beautiful gift.

Fell apart right away Jan 12, 2011
By MycoKat I bought this for my daughter for x-mas, and after swinging it around a couple times the wooden ball at the top of the stick, that holds the ribbon on, just fell right off. We were able to glue it back on easily with some wood glue, but were somewhat disappointed.
Rainbow streamer - needs some work. Jan 28, 2012
By D. Morrison 5 stars for fun and 4 for educational value, but only 3 stars for duribility as the ball on the end fell off after a day.
Drilled a hole, put a screw in it and it was fixed in 2 minutes - no big deal.

Fell Apart Immediately! Jul 26, 2011
By K. Nash We purchased this toy for our four year old to play with, and it was a total joke! For the price, I expected something quality, and this is just not that great. First off, its way too long for a "streamer" to play with. The silk is really rather thin too, so it tears easily. Finally, my ribbon also detatched from the wood stick after a few uses of play. Also I didn't see where it was made with "natural" glue - its made in China!
Bottom line, you could make something WAY more durable yourself by going to a local fabric store and creating your own. Complete waste of money!
