Lower case ABC blocks Feb 06, 2010
I think that these blocks are great since children need to learn their lowercase letters in order to read and also because they place the baby animals on other blocks so that one can easily match them up with the proper beginning consonant.

My daughter is 16 months and loves to stack the blocks and watch them fall. She is too young to learn the alphabet but she knows some of the animals and the sounds they make. She also says "blocks". I anticipate these blocks being a useful tool in teaching the alphabet to her. I love, love, love these blocks and they are green and made in my home state! I highly recommend them. Buy Michigan!!!

These blocks look great online but look even better inperson. The craftsmenship is amazing. The colors are beautiful. They are very light weight. I bought them for my two boys. I though it would be great for my older son (6 yrs old)to spell and then teach my younger son. As soon as we opened the box my older son started showing my younger son how to spell. It was so cute. You can't beat the price. I'm going to buy an other set cause my son is starting to put together more than one word at a time and there are only 2 of each letters (there are 4 e and a).

The quality of this product has prompted me to write my first Amazon review. These blocks are beautifully made and fantastic for the price. My 16 month old son loves stacking them, placing them in containers and looking at the animals. They are so nice, I almost want a set for myself!

My son loves this set of blocks. We've been using a baby reading program with him since 10months of age. After 5months of his reading program he wanted to learn the letters in the alphabet (lower case letters as that's what the reading book used), this set was great. It's the only one in lower case that I can find and ALL teachers and reading programs recommend and use lower case letters when teaching children to read. These blocks were (are) great with his reading program and weren't as confusing to him as the upper case blocks (a.k.a. letters he didn't know since this words he was reading were all lower case). After 2months of the lower case alphabet blocks he was able memorize them and then move on to the upper case blocks but I am so happy to have these. Great quality! Beautiful! A must have for moms and teachers!
