Plan Toys Eco-Friendly Wooden Toys

Based in Thailand, Plan Toys is the world’s first and largest manufacturer of recycled wooden toys. It all begins with natural rubberwood recycled from defunct rubber trees grown in fertilizer-free soil for three years. To stabilize the wood, Plan Toys uses a time-consuming chemical-free kiln drying process.

The toys are then assembled using proprietary non-formaldehyde glue and then coated with non-toxic, water-based dyes containing no heavy metal elements such as lead. The toys are packaged in recycled or recyclable materials that are printed with soy ink and water-based ink.

Plan Toys produces all of their products in their own factories. They are ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and SA8000 (Social Accountability Management) certified which means they have been recognized not only for the quality of their products, but their commitment to environmental awareness, providing a safe and healthy work environment, and implementing policies to enhance employees’ quality of life.
