Beautiful! Dec 18, 2006

"I'd rather be in Hawaii"
My husband and I purchased these gorgeous alphabet cards before our baby was born as we were looking for non gender-specific decorations. Now we use the letters to spell our baby's name on his nursery wall. When he is older, we will use the cards for play. The colors are lovely and the pictures are so sweet!

Cute and folksy, comes in a great gift box Sep 23, 2012

The cards are packaged in a beautiful sturdy box with a ribbon, great to give as a gift! We simply used white tacks to hang them at the top of the wall, where it meets the ceiling, in my daughter's playroom. They are large enough where you can easily see them from across the room.
When my 2 year old daughter saw them she was immediately entranced by them. We had to resort to trickery to get them away from her so she wouldn't bend them before we could get them up. I love the combination of having upper- and lowercase, and a playful animal illustration to catch a child's attention.
The illustrations are cute and folksy, they have a little bit of a watercolor effect, they are not graphic or cartoony. A wide range of colors are used, red, blue, green, purple, yellow, brown, etc, to go with all kinds of decor. In each card, the foreground color is earthy mustard, the middleground is light green for grass, and the top part/sky is white. Also there is a theme of the animals either playing a musical instrument (the Monkey is playing drums), with a piece of nature (the Turtle is holding a flower), moving/traveling (the Wolf is riding a bike), or wearing one piece of clothing (the Zebra has a jester's hat on) . A few of the animal choices are a little odd, instead of using a yak for "Y", there is a yellowhammer. I would have picked "Queen bee" for "Q" instead of "Quetzel." We love these cards and consider them a great purchase.

Love the cards but missing the letter G Aug 17, 2011
By MLB The cards are beautiful and good quality. I want to use as "art" for my daughters' play room. Was so pleased in looking through them until I got to where the letter G should have been and found the letter S. Thought maybe G would be where S should be - but no such luck - just another S. I'm hoping Amazon can correct this problem and I can get a G. Anyone missing a S?

very cute! Feb 21, 2007
By Traci I put these alphabet cards up in our baby's bedroom. We do not know if we are having a girl or boy, and I thought they were a very gender neutral decor item for the wall! I will probably have them laminated in the near future.

These cards are beautiful! They are high quality, thick and perfect for framing. We love them! They are great not only for a child's room but for anywhere in the house.
